Signal Trade App is the cloud futures path for Tradovate. Connect your broker there, paste a trade-scoped API key on Connections, and Trade Desky places market orders with automatic front-month resolution.
How it works
Desktop alerts and inbound JSON webhooks still enter Trade Desky as usual. When the parsed intent is futures and Signal Trade App is your armed futures target, trade-receiver calls POST /api/v1/accounts/{id}/orders with your API key. Signal Trade App keeps the Tradovate WebSocket session; you never manage OAuth in Trade Desky.
Setup
Create a Signal Trade App account and connect Tradovate (demo or live).
Generate an API key with trade scope under Settings → API Keys.
On Connections, choose Tradovate (Signal Trade App), paste the key, load accounts, and select the Tradovate account.
Arm Signal Trade App as a futures execution target (or set it as default).
Run a test order in paper mode first (simulated locally), then use a Tradovate demo account for a live dry run.
Send roots (ES, MES, NQ) or continuous forms (ES1!). Front-month mapping and rollover are handled by Signal Trade App. Absolute take-profit / stop-loss prices are supported by their API but are not mapped from tick-based intents in Trade Desky yet.
Your next alert could be an order.
Start in paper, connect your broker, and go live when you’re ready.
